WALKING SAFARIS

I spent five years running walking safaris in Zimbabwe, working with some of the best guides in Africa in my twenties. Tracking black rhino and lions in Matusadona and sleeping in tiny mobile tented camps each night, moving camp each day in pursuit of game. This is one of the most in depth wildlife experiences you can have, and you cannot get closer to nature than staying in a mobile camp and walking or riding each day. I am passionate about discovering the bush on foot, led by an expert, and would be delighted to help you plan a walking safari. It is not for everyone, and you will certainly tick off more species speeding past in a Land Cruiser. But if you want to learn more, sharpen your senses and really feel an encounter with an elephant or lion up close but quietly and respectfully, then you should try a walking safari. There is nothing more exciting or memorable.
