DESTINATIONS
Kenya and Tanzania have some of the best photographic wildlife opportunities in the world, and we have worked with professional photographers for many years arranging trips for them. Some of these are species specific, focusing on lions, rhinos, wild dogs, black leopards or the great migration. Zimbabwe and Zambia offer down to earth bush camps in beautiful parks with big rivers and huge trees, creating the perfect backdrop for wildlife photography.
Zimbabwe and Zambia have some of the best walking safaris in Africa and I spent much of my twenties on foot in the national parks here. Tracking wildlife on foot and being led by a highly trained walking guide leads you closer to nature than you can imagine. You become part of the landscape, rather than just an observer, and your senses sharpen.
Kenya is home to some of the best lodges in Africa in the most beautiful big landscapes. If you enjoy being active, North Kenya offers opportunities to explore Africa on foot, horseback as well as by vehicle, seeing wildlife in different ways. One of our specialties is family safaris in Kenya since there is so much variety in this beautiful country and so much to do! As well as seeing wildlife from the confines of a vehicle, you might also like to walk with a guide, camp under the stars, visit the tribes of North Kenya, or go on a riding safari. Combining beautiful lodges, sympathetically designed to blend into their environment, with a pool to cool off in in the heat of the day, you can then spend a few days under canvas in a tented camp like the safaris of days gone by. Whatever your preference, we have an inside knowledge of planning safaris after living here and travelling in Africa for so long and it is our pleasure to share this with you.
