ABOUT US
My name is Annabelle Dugdale (previously Carey). I have lived in the African bush running safaris in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Kenya for 24 years. I have hosted walking safaris, horseback expeditions, photographic safaris and run lodges since the age of 22 and feel incredibly lucky to have lived in Africa’s beautiful wilderness areas... It is hugely rewarding creating journeys for visitors to Africa, allowing me to share our love for the wilderness, people and wildlife of this amazing continent with those who have it all lying ahead of them!
As a visitor to Africa you play an important part in conserving these delicate areas for wildlife, and supporting the lives of those people on the ground.
I create journeys combining small, personal camps and lodges in the best wildlife destinations. Many of these are run by old friends, with optional visits to the East African coast and Indian Ocean islands. We live in Kenya with our four teenage children, so are here on the ground when you come on safari, available to help with anything you might need. We arrange safaris to Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi.

My husband, Simon Dugdale, has a background in security and logistics. He has worked in wildlife conservation, security and for the United Nations in East Africa for the last 25 years. He has motorbiked from London to Victoria Falls, and around most of Southern and East Africa so his geography is quite useful! Together we explore off the beaten track places with our family so we can pass on our personal recommendations.

Simon has a background in East African Security and worked for one of the leading security companies in Africa for nine years. If you need a high level of security on safari, for whatever reason, we can provide solutions from the moment you arrive in country to when you leave.
If you just want reassurance that you will be safe on safari, please note we bear this in mind for all our visitors and make sure you travel with the best local tour operators, airlines and private charters with excellent safety records. You will be surprised at how advanced the mid to high end tourism operations are with regards to security and safety, meeting international requirements in order to survive in today’s world like any country.
